Ray White Takanini & Karaka are supporting Christmas Box because it brings hope to those who need it most this Christmas.

Ray White’sannual charity drive,A Little Ray of Giving, is returning this festive season. Every year, this initiative sees hundreds of businesses from Australasia’s largest real estate group collaborate with their local communities to raise donations for various charities and not-for-profit organisations. At Ray White Takanini & Karaka we strongly believe everybody deserves to smile this Christmas. As a charitable initiative, we’ve  partnered with Life Community, supporting their Christmas Box initiative again this year. Christmas Box brings hope to the table by helping individuals and families in South Auckland who may need some extra support and care during this busy and often stressful time.

Not only will our team be donating our time by helping to pack the food boxes, but we will also be sponsoring as well as delivering the food boxes to families in need. A humble cardboard box could bring much needed hope to thetable over a stressful and demanding period. Our Takanini and Karaka offices serve as collection points for cans and other non-perishable food products.

These items will aid to fill the Christmas Food Boxes which will then be delivered to South Auckland families in need. See below for more information.

Canned and Non-Perishable Items Drop Off Points

Life Community aims to ensure that the most vulnerable do not go hungry. Those who wish to donate canned and non-perishable foods are welcome to drop it off at either our Takanini or Karaka branch where will be collected by Life Community. Items such as Pasta, Tomato Pasta Sauce, Baked Beans, Sugar, Flour, Tea, Long Life Milk, Oats, Rice & Weetbix are always in high demand and greatly appreciated.

Since 2002, LIFE Community has been passionate about bringing value to our communities through social services and education. Through our social service initiatives, LIFE Community Kitchens, Christmas Box, The Giving Store, LIFE Homes and our partnership with Christians Against Poverty, we are able to meet whanau and individuals where they gather, to meet their needs by providing food, essential products and support.

Christmas Box started as a grassroots local initiative in 2001, delivering Christmas gift-wrapped food boxes to neighbouring families in need. Since then, they have packed and help deliver over 190,000 boxes and impacted over 156,000 families just in New Zealand. Christmas Box exists to bring hope to the table of families across NZ, Australia and The Cook Islands.
